Eastbourne started to game and for the first 10 minutes it looked like it was going to be the same old slog that has come to be the norm' when these 3rd teams meet.
H&B scored the first try and converted and duly Eastbourne took the next try failing to convert, it turned out to be the only points they would get for the day as set about racking up the biggest score of the season.
H&B proceeded to put on an excellent show making use of every play to the max and collected dividends on it.
The score at half time was 26 - 5 the H&B and turning round they began the second half as if it was a new game loading more points, It would be fair to say that the score line doesn't reflect the play from Eastbourne as they put some good moves and made ground, but with H&B playing so well very little looked to like saving the game for them.
H&B man of the match was split between Robbie Simmons who as acting captain played a great game, didn't score but helped set up a lot of the play that got the points, and James Usherwood the teams youngest member for the showing excellent ball carrying and keeping a cool head under pressure, also picking up his first try in adult rugby.
In total H&B scored nine try's Ady Evans, Duncan Dobson, Matt Dawes, Christian Holingsworth (2), James Usherwood, Paul Northen, John Perkins and Gus Godden. Seven of the try's had been converted by brilliant kicking from Peter Eames.
The final score was 59-5 to H
